Bath, body, and skincare from Whole Foods

Yesterday I made a run to Whole Foods because I wanted to try a new deodorant and picked up a few more things while I was there. I’m still trying to get my bearings in Whole Foods’ personal care section, but I found a few things that I’m excited about. Would you like to take a peek?

Desert Essence Lemon Tea Tree Deodorant: I’m at the very beginning of a journey trying out natural deodorants, and so this is a new brand for me. My first impression is that this smells really good. To me, “Lemon Tea Tree” sounds like it would smell medicinal, but it doesn’t and I’m kind of in love with the scent. I wasn’t sure which way to turn for a new deodorant and I ended up picking this one out somewhat due to the price tag – it cost about $7. It wasn’t the very cheapest option available, but it’s definitely reasonable. I’ll be documenting my natural deodorant journey, so stay tuned!

Level Naturals Bath Bombs: I have previously tried three of these and absolutely loved them – you can read my original review here. This time I thought I’d try the rest of the available scents that appealed to me, and I think there are only two that I decided to not try. The ones that ended up in my basket this time are Lemon Ginger Sage, Frankincense and Myrrh, Grapefruit Bergamot, and Eucalyptus Lime. They’re $1.99 each, which is wonderful.

Andalou Naturals Illuminating Toner: As I mentioned in my review of Andalou Naturals’ anti-aging serum, I was very impressed by my first experience with the brand. I’m running low on my Raunsborg Skin Tonic, so I thought I’d check out some of Whole Foods’ toner offerings. Andalou’s products were on sale, and with the discount their toners only cost $10 (normally $13). The ingredients look great, and if this turns out to be a good product for my skin then I’ll be a happy camper!

Do you buy beauty products from Whole Foods? Have any favorite natural brands? I’d love to hear about them!

    1. Unfortunately I haven’t seen the bath bombs anywhere else, but I’ve seen some of the other brands carried in Whole Foods pop up in drugstores and other non-chain natural health stores. Sorry about the lack of availability!
