I’ve previously talked about the Too Faced La Crème lipsticks, and I generally intend on expanding my small collection because I really enjoy them a lot. I received the shade Spice Spice Baby for Christmas, which I was so excited about, and thought I’d share some photos of the color.

This shade has all of the same great qualities of the other shades I own, which is that it’s a lovely color, is kind to dehydrated lips, is packaged beautifully, and is just generally nice to use and wear. I don’t like spending $20+ on a lipstick, but I have a personal affinity with the La Crème shade range and I just like having a few around in everyday kinds of shades that I can reach for regularly.

Spice Spice Baby is described as a “pinky brown” on Sephora’s website, and I’d mostly agree, except that it just doesn’t have that much brown in it. On me, I think it reads as a pretty natural sort of pink with just a hint of neutral brown.

Above, I’m also wearing DreamWorld Hermetica mineral foundation (a mix of Rhea II in Cloud and Rhea III in Luna – review), DreamWorld Hermetica blush in Witches’ Sunset (review) and Clinique Cheek Pop in Berry Pop, a blend of NYX brow pencil in Medium Brown and Too Faced Chocolate Soleil bronzer (review) in my brows, L’Oreal Voluminous Butterfly Intenza mascara, and eyeshadows from the Urban Decay Vice LTD palette (photo).

The Too Faced La Crème lipsticks cost $22 each. You can find them at Too Faced and Sephora.

    1. Nice! I personally don’t worry so much about the staying power because my lips are SO easily dried out that I need the softer texture, but I’ve also found a quick dab of a primer like MAC’s Lip Erase helps the colors stay around a bit longer!

  1. Spice Spice Baby is one of my favorite lipsticks. It’s so versatile and looks good with everything.
I see you’re wearing shades from the Vice LTD palette. I’m trying to decide if I should try and nab it from Ulta on January 25th. It will probably sell out and then my quandary will be solved.

    1. It does seem to look nice with everything! Yeah, I was really happy to hear they’d sell the Vice LTD one last time at Ulta. I’m really enjoying it, I think it just depends on your color preferences. But yeah, it will probably sell out really quick! It was the only time I ever put a release date/time on my calendar and stayed up to jump on a product, ha.

  2. If you’re still into these lipsticks, I heard that they’ll be part of Ulta’s 21 Days of Beauty on 9/9 for $11. I’m thinking of trying one!

      1. I’m eyeing Fuchsia Shock and I Want Candy based on online swatches! I haven’t checked them out in person yet, but $11 is a pretty decent price to give them a shot since these are so well loved 🙂

      2. So I ended up getting I Want Candy, Bon Bon, Jelly Bean, and Spice Spice Baby. I usually go for brights, but Spice Spice Baby is really nice! Glad I read a few reviews on it (including yours) and decided to pick it up 🙂

          1. Spice Spice Baby turned out to be the easiest to wear (I also found it more pink than brown on my lips), but I Want Candy is a little bit more vibrant and also easy to wear. I swatched the other two at Sephora but haven’t tried them yet. Totally meant to get Razzle Dazzle Rose as well, but I forgot!
