I have some more awesome haircare that’s gentle and affordable to share with you (I’m on a bit of a roll with these kinds of things, lately). I’ve been trying the Maple Holistics Natural Argan Oil shampoo and conditioner, which are cruelty-free and contain fun things like argan oil, jojoba oil, keratin, and green tea. I’m really enjoying them and as a bonus, I’m able to give away a shampoo and conditioner to one of y’all!
I initially wasn’t really sure what to expect from these, and between the claims of being gentle and containing plenty of argan oil, I wondered if they might be overly moisturizing for my fairly “normal” hair needs. Maple Holistics offers a good handful of different shampoo and conditioner options, but the argan oil line seems to be positioned as a middle-of-the-road option.
The duo doesn’t smell like much at all (maybe just slightly sweet), and the shampoo doesn’t give much of a lather. They really work, though. My hair gets fully cleansed, and the conditioner leaves my hair smooth but not weighed down. I’m really very impressed and don’t have a bad thing to say. It’s a balanced formulation that leaves hair clean, nourished, shiny and manageable.
