I’ve really been exploring a lot of skincare from Kiehl’s over the past several months, evidenced by posts here and here. While I fortunately can’t say any of the products have been complete misses for me, I definitely have some favorites that I’m very excited about. I’m even at a point where I can chat about 5 of my favorite products covering 5 different product categories, so it seems like a great time to talk about the stuff I’m really enjoying.
I have a Japanese facial oil to talk about today, which has just recently been released in the US. The Vegetable Oil by Black Paint, which I believe will be launching in the US as the Age Eraser Moisture Boost, is a blend of 10 organic botanical oils and can be used to both remove makeup and moisturize and nourish skin.
Derma MD is a brand that’s pretty new to me, and I’ve had the opportunity to test out a number of their products in a new regimen. I’m excited to share my thoughts on all of the products and giving an overall impression on how the routine has been working for me. I wanted to take some time to touch on each of the products as an intro to the brand, and I hope it’s helpful if you’re interested in finding some new skincare or perhaps just enjoy learning about what’s out there.
I’d mentioned in my recent Lush shampoo and conditioner review that Lush’s products seemed like really great for traveling because many of them aren’t liquids and can be bought in small packages, and this cleanser was another one of those that’s been following me around all summer long. Dark Angels is a dry paste that you can mix with water to create an exfoliating cleanser, and I’d anticipated it being a good pick for summer since it’s indicated to be suitable for oilier skin.
SebaMed is a brand I was introduced to when I spent a semester of college in Germany. I didn’t recognize most of the brands sold in German stores, so I asked my friend what body lotion she’d recommend and she pointed SebaMed out to me. These days, SebaMed products are distributed in the US and locally I’ve seen their body lotion at Bed Bath & Beyond.
