This past month I was walking through downtown Seattle and noticed a new neighbor had moved in – a place called Skoah, which appeared to be a skincare boutique. I had to return at some point during business hours, and was able to better explore what kind of place this actually was. It’s a spa with a variety of facial services that also sells a pretty big line of skincare products, which had me pretty excited! They’re based in Vancouver, Canada and have locations in the Seattle, Vancouver, Calgary, and Boston areas, and you can also purchase products through their website. I really wanted to try something and ended up purchasing their basic eye cream, labeled as appropriate for most skin types.
I received a little jar of Murad’s Hydro-Dynamic Ultimate Moisture for Eyes earlier this summer in my June Sample Society subscription box. The jar itself looked teeny weeny, but I was able to use it twice a day for an entire month! It’s a really lightweight and fast absorbing gel-cream that promises to lock in hydration for 8 hours. I love how straight forward the claim and marketing message is. And you know what? The product is as effective as the message is direct.
