Derma MD is a brand that’s pretty new to me, and I’ve had the opportunity to test out a number of their products in a new regimen. I’m excited to share my thoughts on all of the products and giving an overall impression on how the routine has been working for me. I wanted to take some time to touch on each of the products as an intro to the brand, and I hope it’s helpful if you’re interested in finding some new skincare or perhaps just enjoy learning about what’s out there.
I just wanted to say a few words about this sheet mask I just finished up using last night. My Beauty Diary is one of the big producers of sheet masks and are pretty popular. I originally picked these masks up in a 7-11 at the Taipei airport when I was going to have a day without my checked baggage, including all of my moisturizers, so I thought my skin was going to suffer.
When I ran out of my last serum, I decided to venture over to Whole Foods to see if they had any options that were reasonably priced. Serums can be an expensive skincare step, but as luck would have it the Andalou Naturals brand was on sale and they had a few different serum options at a pretty reasonable price point. I picked up the age defying Fruit Stem Cell Revitalize Serum to see if it could help out my fine lines which have started to bother me more over the past year or two.
I received the Malin + Goetz Vitamin E Face Moisturizer in early October inside my Sample Society subscription box, and have been trying it out over the past few weeks. I like the plain little bottle it comes in, though it’s basically impossible to read thanks to the curvature of the bottle. This moisturizer is supposed to be appropriate for all skin types, and is formulated with 0.5% vitamin E and “fatty acid absorption technology”. The website also says that it balances pH, includes natural antioxidants, vitamin B5 (panthenol), soothing chamomile and fatty acids. At $45 for a full-sized bottle of 4 oz., it’s also quite expensive, so I’ve been trying to pay close attention to this one to see if I think it’s worth it.
