I’ve taken an inadvertent break from the blog but wanted to mention a handful of things I’ve landed on and have been really enjoying. The truth is that while I still buy stuff occasionally, I’m not doing it with the same hunger and frequency as I have in the past. That means I’m sitting with each product over a longer and more consistent period of time, and really trying to use things up before moving on. Here are about 10 skincare, makeup, and hair care products I’ve had great luck with and are very fond of right now.
Hey, I bought some things a little bit of a discount. Wanna see what I got? I took advantage of sales last week at Sephora and Kiehl’s that happened to begin over the same weekend, which I’m sure was no coincidence. I grabbed a couple of things impulsively, but more than anything I took it as a chance to stock up on the kinds of products that I run through the quickest, in the hopes that I can push off needing to make additional purchases over the next several months.
Derma MD is a brand that’s pretty new to me, and I’ve had the opportunity to test out a number of their products in a new regimen. I’m excited to share my thoughts on all of the products and giving an overall impression on how the routine has been working for me. I wanted to take some time to touch on each of the products as an intro to the brand, and I hope it’s helpful if you’re interested in finding some new skincare or perhaps just enjoy learning about what’s out there.
I received a deluxe sample of the Orlane Extreme Line-Reducing Lip Care in my January Sample Society subscription box, and when I took a look at the price for the full-sized version, I had to chuckle. Don’t get me wrong – I was definitely excited to try out a luxury product like this, it’s just that I was highly doubtful that a product like this, especially one for the lip area alone, could possibly be worth that kind of price tag.
