The Body Shop’s Vitamin E Nourishing Night Cream is pretty much what it sounds like: a simple and nourishing nighttime moisturizer. The Body Shop says this is for all skin types, and the formulation is rich with wheat germ oil, cocoa butter, panthenol, and vitamin E.
I picked my jar up over the summer at an airport. I was in the middle of some extended travels and I had run out of non-SPF moisturizer, and threw my hands up in joy when on a brief layover I came across a Body Shop. I walked in and asked the sales associate for a suggestion. I was using their Seaweed day lotion and simply wanted something a bit more moisturizing and suitable for the p.m. and she grabbed me a jar of this for me to take a look at.
The cream has a fairly thick consistency but is smooth and easily spread on skin. I think it has a cushiony feel. It technically has fragrance listed on the ingredients, but it really doesn’t smell like much. After I apply it, it seems to sit on top of my skin for a little bit but soaks in slowly throughout the night. The center of my face is generally a little shiny in the morning and the rest of my face feels plump and soft. It’s really effective for me and I can really see it working for different skin types.
I’ve been working on this little pot off and on since the summer. It works great for me and I’ve been switching between it and other night creams that I’ve been trying out, but at this point I only have a few uses left before the jar goes in the empties pile. I was definitely considering the purchase of a replacement, though this time I ended up going for the Aloe Soothing Night Cream instead. I was having a hard time figuring out what differentiates the two based on the descriptions and reviews online, so I figured I might as well give the other a try for the sake of comparison.
