I recently posted that I had found a handful of Urban Decay nail polishes marked down to $5 at Nordstrom Rack (different shades are found on Urban Decay’s website), and had come home with two shades, Addiction and Vice. I’ve been wearing them on my nails for the past couple of weeks, and I really like them! The two I grabbed are striking fall shades, and they apply and wear really nicely.
Addiction is described as a gunmetal, but to me it’s a dollar bill sort of green. There’s a lot of micro glitter in there and the finish is very shiny, as well. It needs two not-too-thick coats for opacity, and it lasted really well on me. I had it on my nails for almost two weeks, and though it didn’t look awesome by the end of its run, I felt like the wear and tear was occurring relatively slowly and very evenly.
Vice is a deep purple with some pinkish tones that give it a really pretty depth. It seems like a very Urban Decay sort of color and it reminds me of the Vice 2 palette cover. The micro-glitter is visible in the bottle but less so on the nail, but it does just help provide some depth to the color. It comes across as more of a creamy color, and the finish isn’t as glossy as Addiction. My favorite thing about Vice is how quickly it dries. It won’t be bulletproof in just a few minutes, but it holds up to touching really, really fast after a coat is applied. I used two coats.
You can check out my last post for details, but basically Nordstrom Rack is the only place I’ve seen these two shades marked down. They’re now $5, down from $15, and Nordstrom Rack also has a few other shades available, as does Urban Decay’s website. I kind of want Bang and Chaos now, too, but I’ve been trying to save my money for the holidays.
Happy Thanksgiving! 🙂
